Week in bentos - Oct 6 - 10th

Once again I get surprised how I can make things stretch when the pantry starts to dwindle and a shopping trip awaits us, but behold, here are the results... This weeks bentos include: 

Monday - Apple slices w/ soy nut butter for dipping topped with chocolate chips, pretzels, carrot sticks w/ ranch, jello and cheese cubes. 

This lunch was packed in this adorable Russian doll style bento box from Japan. Look at the detail! 

Tuesday - Chicken and cheese sammies, broccoli w/ ranch, cheeze-its, jello, and an applesauce pouch. 

Wednesday - Mac & cheese, banana, apple slices and carrots w/ ranch. 

Thursday - Bagel w/ cream cheese and strawberry jam, plus who needs lunchbox notes when you can write directly on their food? Jello w/ a grape, carrots w/ ranch, pretzels, and cheese cubes.

Friday - White rice w/ teriyaki and soy sauces, pretzels, carrots w/ ranch, jello, and I tossed an apple sauce pouch in afterwards when I realized there was no fruit! 

Making my shopping list for some exciting and creepy Items gearing up or Halloween week!! This is my second year doing Halloween bentos and they are fun!!

Week in Bentos - Sep 29 - Oct 3rd

Happy October, everyone!! 

This weeks bentos... 

Monday - Picture Day!! 

To capture the picture day theme we have a bagel w/ cream cheese and strawberry jam, banana, carrot sticks w/ ranch, grapes, and a camera and picture made out of cheese. (Disclaimer: I'm no artist, and that's as good as it gets with edible marker on cheese! ;-) )

Tuesday - Chicken and provolone wraps on a whole wheat tortilla, fruit salad w/ bananas, apples & grapes, broccoli w/ ranch, fig neuton cookies, and pretzels. 

Wednesday - Rice w/ soy sauce, celery w/ ranch, apple alices, and cheese stick bites. 

Thursday - My little woman made it to the Good Behavior Hall of Fame and got to eat Round Table pizza with her teacher! 

Friday - Teddy Bear Picnic. Soy nut butter and jelly, bear sandwich with fruit leather tummy and chocolate chip eyes. I assure I didn't mean to make him look as depressed as he does! Carrots w/ ranch, grapes, Teddy Graham's, cheddar and Mozzerella cheese kabob. 

P.S. We received another AMAZING package of bento boxes and accessories from my cousin Melanie who currently lives in Japan!! Right from the source folks! I feel so spoiled!!!
